Goals for Adding and Subtracting
Up to $1.00
___ My child knows the value of a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, and a half dollar.
___ My child can count up to $1.00 from each coin; penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and half dollar.
___ My child can count mixed coins up to $1.00.
___ My child can give certain amounts of coins up to $1.00.
___ My child can add and subtract two amounts of coins up to $1.00. Example: I have $.67 and $.22. How much money do I have all together? I have $.75 but I need to lend $.35 to a friend. How much money do I have left?
