Frogs and Toads

There are about 2,700 kinds of frogs and toads in the world. Most of the frogs and toads live in tropical climates.
Frogs and toads have four legs and no tail when fully grown. Their back legs are very long and used for jumping. They go through a process called metamorphosis. This process has great changes in the frogs and toads body so at one point they do have a tail.
Many frogs have brightly colored skin. They have good eyesight which helps them catch insects. Frogs and toads have great voices and can hear many sounds.
