Cookie Count

Before Playing:

1. Run off the sheets of cookies.

2. Cut them up into cards.

3. Get out two plates.

Directions:

1. Take the cards and put_____ cookies on one plate.

2. Take some more cookie cards and put _____ cookies on the second plate.

3. Ask your child how many cookies are on each plate as you put them on the plate(s).

4. Then ask how many cookies are there in all or on both plates.

5. Do this over and over until it becomes automatic. Also, let your child put the cookies on the plates and you tell how many cookies are on the plates in all.
