Make Writing Fun

*Take a cake pan and put rice in the bottom of it. Put the lid on the cake pan and it can be used over and over again to write in. You can use sand, sugar, and flour also.

*Let your child just explore and you can explore with them. Draw lines, shapes, houses, or pictures.

*On another sheet of paper write a letter. Show them how to write the letter and say how to write the letter.

*Let them write the letter over and over again.

*If a letter is hard for your child to write, write the letter on their back. Have them write the letter really big in the air. Even take their hand and do the motion with them.

*It is also fun to write letters outside with chalk on the sidewalk, on the kitchen counter with whip cream, or in the bath tub with bath foam.
