Paste for Paper Mache

Ingredients

· 1/4 cup of flour

· 6 cups water

Equipment

· bowl

· measuring cup

· spoon

· pan

· stove

Directions

1. Mix ¼ cup of flour and 1 cup of water into a bowl.

2. Heat 5 cups of water in a pan until it boils.

3. Add the flour and water mixture to the boiling water.

4. Boil the mixture for 4-5 minutes.

5. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool.

Using

Dip strips of newspaper in paper mache paste and put the strips on the object you decide to cover (balloons, box, etc...). Once you have covered the mold in paper mache let it completely dry!
