Garden Treasure Box

Props:
Sun hats, gloves, gardening tools, sprinkling can, and plants; flower and/or fruits & vegetable plants.
Activities:
  • Decide where you will plant your garden. Make a map of where you will plant the plants. Plant your garden. 
  • Take pictures of your garden as it grows. You can put a book together about your garden.
  • Research and read about plants. Where do they grow best, when and where should they be planted? How much water do they need?
  • Visit a flower shop. Talk with people who have gardened for a long time.
  • Make a special picnic lunch with the vegetables and fruits you have grown. Make a flower arrangement with the flowers you grow.
